    That the minutes of the Special Meeting held August 7, 2019, Meeting to Consider held August 13, 2019, and Regular Meeting of Council held August 13, 2019 BE ADOPTED as presented.

Mayor Bondy, Deputy Mayor Meloche, Councillor Riccio-Spagnuolo, Joe Milicia, Chief Administrative Office, Peter Marra, Director of Public Works and Julie Columbus, Director of Culture and Recreation attended the AMO conference in Ottawa on August 18 to August 20, 2019. Meetings were held with Ministry leaders to promote the Town of LaSalle.

The soft launch for the Rendez-vous Voyageur event was held on Thursday, August 22, 2019, which was well attended. Mayor Bondy congratulates Julie Columbus, Director of Culture and Recreation and department staff on the event.

The last Night Market of the summer was held on Sunday, August 25, 2019. It was a well attended event. Mayor Bondy congratulations Julie Columbus, Director of Culture and Recreation and department staff on the event and is looking forward to next year.

Joanne Drouillard, President of the LaSalle Friendship Club, appears before Council to present a cheque in the amount of $1,500.00 to the Town of LaSalle in appreciation for use of the LaSalle Civic Centre facilities.

    That Report CR 2019-11 submitted by the Director of Culture and Recreation requesting the closure of Town Hall at 2:30pm on Friday September 20th 2019 to prepare the site for the Rendezvous Voyageur Soiree BE APPROVED.

    That the report of the Manager of Engineering dated August 16, 2019 (PW-24-19) regarding the paving of parking lot #3 of the Vollmer Recreation Complex located south of Mike Raymond Drive and across from the arena parking lot BE RECEIVED; and that the cost of $225,000 (+hst) to pave parking lot #3 as quoted by Mill-Am Corporation BE APPROVED; and that the full amount BE FUNDED from the Asset Replacement and Repair Reserve.

    That the report of the Manager of Engineering dated August 19, 2019 (PW-25-19) regarding the contract award for the Front Road Watermain replacement BE RECEIVED; and that the low bid price of $2,989,000 (+hst) received from J.J. Lepera to repair the section of watermain between Gary Avenue and Malden Road BE APPROVED; and that as previously approved in the 2019 budget, the full amount of the Front Road Watermain replacement be funded through the Water Capital Reserve; and that the corresponding by-law BE ADOPTED during the By-law stage of the agenda.

    That the correspondence received from Municipality of Bluewater, dated August 13, 2019, endorsing and supporting the resolution of the Town of Halton Hills calling upon the Province of Ontario, through the discussion paper "Reducing Litter and Waste in our Communities" to review and implement a deposit/return program for all single use plastic, aluminum, and metal drink containers and that the Province of Ontario review current producer requirements and look for extended producer responsibility for all packaging BE RECEIVED.

    8342 - A By-law to amend By-Law No. 8013 being a By-Law to regulate the sale and discharge of Fireworks within the Town of LaSalle, to amend By-Law No. 7170 being a By-Law restricting the setting of fires within the Town of LaSalle, and to temporarily close certain roads in the Town of LaSalle, all to accommodate a community event known as Rendez-Vous Voyageur 

    8343 - A By-law to authorize execution of an Agreement between the Corporation of the Town of LaSalle and J&J Lepera Infrastructures Inc. for the Front Road Watermain Replacement Project
