Opening Procession

 

J. Astrologo, Director of Council Services/Clerk called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

Cailean Lenover, Member of the Scottish Society of Windsor Pipe Band,  performed on the bagpipes leading in Council and the LaSalle Police Service Honour Guard.

Land Acknowledgement Statement and Playing of National Anthem

 

J. Astrologo, Director of Council Services/Clerk read the land acknowledgement statement.

C.
Opening Remarks

 

Ethan Wuerch, Constituency Assistant from the Office of MPP Anthony Leardi, appeared before Council on behalf of MPP Anthony Leardi. He congratulated the successful candidates who ran for LaSalle Municipal office in the 2022 Municipal Election. He commended the Town for its growth and successes and stated that he looks forward to working with the newly elected Members of Council.

Administration of Declaration of Office

 

J. Astrologo, Director of Council Services/Clerk administered the Declaration of Office for each Member.

E.
Inaugural Address by Mayor Crystal Meloche

 

Mayor Meloche welcomed everyone to the Inaugural Meeting for the 2022-2026 Town of LaSalle Council. She thanked outgoing Mayor Bondy for his years of service to the Town and congratulated the newly elected Members of Council. Mayor Meloche stated that she looks forward to the next four years of growth and moving forward together as a community.
