Call to Order

Councillor Akpata called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.

None.

Adoption of Minutes

• Moved by: Councillor Akpata
  Seconded by: Councillor Riccio-Spagnuolo

  That the Minutes of the Regular Session of the By-law Committee Meeting dated January 18, 2022 be adopted as presented.

  Carried.

Items for Consideration

1.

Request to Remove Dangerous Dog Designation

R. Renaud provided an overview of the report.

• Moved by: Councillor Riccio-Spagnuolo
  Seconded by: Councillor Akpata

  That the report of the Compliance Officer dated May 19, 2022 (PBP-2022-23) regarding the request to remove the dangerous dog designation be received;

  And that the Committee remove the dangerous dog designation.

  Carried.

E.

Questions/Statements from Members of the Committee

Councillor Akpata had a community meeting regarding a house on Abbott and confirmed we cannot speak to this item as it is an ongoing investigation. Advises the Bylaw Officer may get further complaints.

The October 18th Bylaw Committee Meeting is cancelled due to the Municipal Election.
