Deputy Mayor Meloche calls the Meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.

Adoption of Minutes

  That the Minutes of the Regular Session of the By-law Committee Meeting dated October 19, 2021 be adopted as presented.

Reports / Correspondence for Committee Action

1.

5001 Cremasco – Weed Cutting

Jasmeet Marwah, 5001 Cremasco, appears before the Committee to discuss an invoice for $903 regarding weed cutting on his property and requests an exemption from the Clean Yard Bylaw and fee reversal as he was out of Town when notice was served.

• Moved by: Deputy Mayor Meloche
  Seconded by: Councillor Riccio-Spagnuolo

  That the report of the Supervisor of Planning and Development Services dated November 24, 2021 (DS-45-2021) regarding a request from Jasmeet Marwah, 5001 Cremasco, to reverse a weed cutting invoice of $903 be received; and that his request to be exempted from an order dated August 24, 2021 in violation of the Clean Yard Bylaw and subsequent fee reversal be approved; and that correspondence confirming the fee reversal be sent to Mr. Jasmeet Marwah.

  Carried.

  Clerk's Note:  As a result of  discussion of business matters; due to the unavailability of  By-law Enforcement after regular business hours, weekends or holidays, it is suggested additional support be provided and that this matter be examined further with Chief Davies of LaSalle Police.
