1.

CONCESSION OPERATIONS- FOOD SERVICES DELIVERY

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the report of the Director of Culture and Recreation dated September 6, 2017 (R&C 12-17) recommending a new business plan for the Concession Operations and Food Service Delivery BE APPROVED; and further that administration REPORT BACK to council in the spring of 2018 to provide an overview on the new business plan approach to the Concession Operations including a review of service, sales and hours of operation.

2.

COST SHARING AGREEMENT- MOBILE LIVE TRAINING UNIT

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the report of the Fire Chief dated October 4, 2017 (FIRE-17-11) recommending a formal cost sharing agreement be executed for the joint purchase of a mobile live training unit BE APPROVED; and that the corresponding by-law be adopted during the by-law stage of the agenda.

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the report from the Director of Culture and Recreation dated October 4, 2017 (C&R13-17) regarding the breakdown of revenue and expenses of the 2017 summer programming BE RECEIVED.

2017 THIRD QUARTER PROPERTY TAX WRITE OFFS

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the report of the Supervisor of Revenue dated October 5, 2017 (FIN-27-17) regarding Property Tax Write Offs from July, August and September 2017 BE RECEIVED.

COUNCIL MEMBER ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS- JULY TO SEPTEMBER ,2017

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the report prepared through the Department of Council Services dated September 29, 2017 (CL-17-17) regarding Council member attendance at Council and committee meetings for the 3rd quarter of 2017, (July to September) BE RECEIVED.

  That the report of the Director of Finance & Treasurer dated October 5, 2017 (FIN-26-2017) regarding the preliminary 2018 budget outlook BE RECEIVED.

BY-LAWS

• RECOMMENDATION

  That the following By-laws BE GIVEN first reading:

  8067-A Bylaw to amend Zoning Bylaw No. 5050, the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw, as amended (Concession 2, Part of Lots 36 & 37)

  8068- A Bylaw to authorize the execution of a cost sharing agreement between the Corporation of the Town of LaSalle, the Corporation of the City of Windsor, the Corporation of the Town of Amherstburg and St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology

   

• RECOMMENDATION

  That by-law numbers 8067 to 8068 BE GIVEN second reading.

• RECOMMENDATION

  That by-law numbers 8067 to 8068 BE GIVEN third reading and finally passed.
