 Darren Winger, Regional Advisor from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, appearing before Council to present the Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) 2023 Top 100 Festival & Events in Ontario.

1.

SE-06-2023 Waterfront Naming Options

• Recommendation

  That the report of the Director of the Strategy and Engagement Department dated March 22, 2023 (SE-06-2023) regarding the Waterfront Naming Options be received, and that Council determines a name for the waterfront.

2.

Purchase of SAN & Server Infrastructure – Implementation and Support

• Recommendation

  That the report of the Director of Finance dated March 14, 2023 (FIN-09-2023) regarding the Purchase of SAN & Server Infrastructure – Implementation and Support be received;

  And that Council awards the contract to Zycom Technology Inc. for a total cost of $328,848.98 plus HST;

  And that this amount be funded from the 2023 IT Capital Budget and the Technology Reserve.

2023 Watermain replacement tender results – Canada Street

• Recommendation

  That the report of the Manager of Engineering dated March 24, 2023 (PW-08-2023) regarding the 2023 Watermain replacement tender results – Canada Street be received;

  And that Council awards the contract to J.C.S Construction for the bid price of $560,431.00 plus HST;

  And that this amount be funded from the 2023 Watermain Replacement Project and 2023 Mill and Pave Allocation, which was part of the 2023 Approved Capital Budget;

  And that the corresponding by-law be adopted during the By-law stage of the agenda.

4.

Pump Station 1 Upgrades Contract Award

• Recommendation

  That the report of the Manager of Water and Wastewater dated March 23, 2023 (PW-07-2023) regarding the Pump Station 1 Upgrades Contract Award be received;

  And that Council awards the contract to Kingdom Construction Ltd. for the bid price of $5,988,683 plus HST;

  And that the corresponding by-law be adopted during the By-law stage of the agenda.

5.

Reaume and Bouffard Watermain Replacement Contract Award

• Recommendation

  That the report of the Manager of Engineering dated March 2 2023 (PW-06-2023) regarding the Reaume and Bouffard Watermain Replacement Contract Award be received;

  And that Council awards the contract to Sherway Contracting (Windsor) Limited. for the bid price of $4,738,229.00 plus HST, and funds this amount through the approved 2023 Watermain Replacement-Bouffard/Reaume Capital project;

  And that the corresponding by-law be adopted during the By-law stage of the agenda.
